The Children's Hospital Foundation sought to define what innovation meant to its unique organization, better understand what barriers to innovation exist inside its walls, and upskill 35 employees with a fundamental understanding of corporate innovation theory, design thinking and the lean startup.

Participants: - Collectively defined what innovation meant to the Foundation - Learned from a number of nonprofit innovation case studies - Applied design thinking and lean startup principles to real-world projects - Collectively defined what blockers exist, insofar as resources, processes and values are concerned Collective Campus also delivered a report which captured the above, and provided a prioritised list of recommendations around how the organisation can best overcome blockers identified and fast-track its innovation journey.
